Shiyi joined Watlow in January 2025 in the newly created position of regional president of Asia, responsible for the growth and profitability of Watlow in Asia. He has 28 years of experience in both China and the U.S. and extensive sales and marketing experience in multiple industries. Before joining Watlow, he was the VP/GM for Asia Fire and Security Group with UTC / Carrier. Prior to that, he spent 12 years with Eaton in China, where he was the China GM for the Hydraulics and Vehicle Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in China, a master’s degree in computer science from Georgia State University in Atlanta and an MBA from Georgetown University in Washington DC.
